Family operated Italian restaurant on Lincoln Road

Rosinella is more than you can expect for a restaurant on Lincoln Road. This family friendly Italian cuisine is a great place to take your loved ones for a tasty lunch (or dinner). They offer delicious bread to dip into oil and vinegar. My family usually orders the fantasy salad. It consists of lettuce, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella cheese and artichokes. Rosinella has a variety of other different mouth-watering salads.

Next comes the main course. Our favorite dishes are the margherita pizza and the mushroom pizza. Spaghetti, panini sandwiches, and other homestyle Italian dishes are just a few other examples of delicious foods served at Rosinella.

The last most liked part of a tasty and simple lunch is……..D E S S E R T ! ! ! ! Rosinella has the best dessert I’ve ever tasted. Tiramisu! ………….

Peterbrooke’s Chocolatier is THE BEST chocolatier I have ever been to in my whole eight years of living. They specialize in chocolate-covered popcorn and Peppermint bark. They also make very delicious goodies such as Four Favorites Tower including 8 Chocolate Graham Crackers, 5 chocolate oreo cookies, White chocolate pretzels, and their special chocolate popcorn.

When my family found their shop, we decided we would make a tradition of coming their every time we had a special event. My favorite part was a “Santa” masterpiece that was made of solid chocolate.

Check it out and tell them you saw it on My Yummy Fun Guide!

The Van Dyke Cafe is located on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Florida. It is one of my favorite places on Lincoln Road. A few of the items on the menu for breakfast are:

French Toast

Pancakes

Hot Oatmeal

Granola and Yogurt (you can add fresh fruit)

Bagel with cream cheese or butter

For lunch they serve hot soups, nice sandwiches, salads, children’s plates, and many other fantastic dishes.

I have gone there a only a few times, but I am sure that the first time you will go, and whatever you order, you will love it! The last time I went, I had a dutch apple crepe. I tried it with the whipped cream and butter they put on the side. I tried it; it was so good!

Established in 1992, the Crepe Maker is a nationwide franchise. If you are looking for a luxurious, yummy lunch or dinner, than you should go to the Crepe Maker. The crepes (thin French pancakes) can be eaten for meals or desserts. And boy, they are so good! If you ask me, I would strictly recommend it.

The one my family usually goes to is at the Falls. The best part is the dessert. Y-U-M-! To find out more information, you can go to the Crepe Maker website.

The Miami Fun Guide crew goes snorkeling in the Florida Keys

While on Marathon Key with the Miami Fun Guide crew, we explored Sombrero Reef. The screw-pile lighthouse above the reef is the only landmark separating Marathon Key from Key West. About eight miles off shore from the seven-mile bridge, the reef is strictly regulated as a Sanctuary Preservation Area (meaning you can look but don’t touch or take).

Sombrero Reef is one of the largest and most magnificent coral reefs in the Middle Keys. We saw brain finger coral, lettuce coral and gorgorian coral. A few colorful schools of fish came to welcome us on our snorkeling trip: yellow tail snappers, sargeant majors, blue parrotfish, and bar jacks. Some scary sea animals that people in our party saw were barracudas, jellyfish, southern stingrays, and nurse sharks. Although we saw many creatures, the strong current prevented us from swimming through the famous six-foot coral limestone Arch.

At this neighborhood water park, you can enjoy your very best summer. The park contains two sections filled with thrilling slides. They were so amazing that I can not even choose which one was my favorite!

If you want to hang out but not quite relax I would recommend going to the pool next.

The next thing I would recommend going to would probably be the lazy river. Here you can enjoy a special time to relax. This specific part of my day was probably be my favorite.

Anna Tuttle reviews homemade Italian food at Bella Napoli on Miami Beach

Bella Napoli is a restaurant that serves Italian cuisine in a family-friendly setting. They offer many appetizing things to choose from. Here are a few:

Calzone

Pizza

Garlic Spinach

Chef Salad

Spinach Manicotti

The tomato sauce at Bella Napoli (served with the Calzone and Manicotti) is homemade and is very good.

The small Calzone is very big, so my sister and I usually share it. The large Calzone fed my whole family of four, and we still had leftovers!

The Chef Salad contains lettuce, ham, olives, small spicy peppers (you can order them on the side) as well as many other yummy ingredients.

The Spinach Manicotti is very good and I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Our kids reporter Paloma reviews Miami Metro Zoo

Miami Metro Zoo is the perfect place to take your family for a day out. You can see tigers, bears, elephants, camels and more.

If you walk up to the monorail station, you can hitch a ride and have a look around the park from the very top. Once you ride around and get acquainted with the zoo, it will be much easier to decide where to go and in what order. You can also rest in the air-conditioned monorail car.

The zoo contains a section called “Kid’s World”. There you can observe meercats, butterflies, etc. A merry-go-round is reserved especially for little kids. If you are interested, a reptile show is availible.

Every once in a while a food stand comes into sight. You can feast on hot dogs, arepas, frozen lemonade, and more to satisfy your appetite. Bring your bathing suit and check out their mini water area.

The zoo offers special “Safari Cycles”, making it easier for you to travel around the park. You could rent one that seats 1-3 or 4-6.

If you are interested, passes are availible. You can also buy cute toys, hats, shirts and other souvenirs in the gift shop.

Miami Metro Zoo is the perfect place for family memories.

Enjoy your visit to Metro Zoo and don’t forget to tell them you saw it on Miami Fun Guide!!!
