Since summer is just around the corner, ‘My Yummy Fun Guide’ readers may be wondering where to take that special someone for a perfect night out. The Melting Pot tops my list!

The restaurant is a nationwide franchise with two locations near Miami, the best one situated on Biscayne Blvd in North Miami Beach. The food there is moderately priced, and the house specialty is fondue.

On my last visit, I feasted on the cheddar cheese fondue, house salad, main course fondue of filet mignon, chicken and vegetables cooked in canola oil and flaming turtle-dark chocolate fondue for dessert. Y-U-M!

The dim lighting and cozy booths make it an ideal place to sit around and enjoy your company.
