Lummus park is 26.34 acres located next to the Atlantic Ocean. It is bordered by Ocean Drive on the west, and runs from 5th Street to 14th Street. The park includes a winding pathway that is boardered by a coral rock wall.
Each street ending on Ocean Drive is continued by a tree lined walkway leading through the park to the sand dunes along the Atlantic Ocean.
The park has two tot lots, one at 6th Street and one at 13th Street. The tot lot at 6th Street is for 2 to 12 year old people, it includes an arch climber. At 13th Street there is a 2 to 5 year old play structure and a 5 to 12 year old play structure. Included are various climbing components, slides, balancing and upper body equipment.
At 14th Street there is a new restroom with concession area. There are also restrooms at 10th Street and at 6th Street. There are volley ball courts east of the coral wall at 8th Street and 13th Street. There are also several water fountains.
